Based in Madrid and originally from Italy, Federico Martire is an international cooperation specialist with nearly 15 years of experience working across disability inclusion, social inclusion, and human rights. His work focuses on building more accessible, equitable, and rights-based development programmes, particularly within the framework of EU-funded initiatives.
Throughout his career, Federico has collaborated with leading international institutions and organisations including the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, the European Commission, the European Disability Forum, the International Disability Alliance, Expertise France, and the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation. His experience spans the Mediterranean region, the Sahel, Latin America, and parts of Central Asia, giving him a broad and grounded perspective on international development and inclusive policy-making.
Federico combines programme management, strategic coordination, and knowledge management with a strong commitment to disability-inclusive development and meaningful participation. Fluent in English, French, Spanish, and Italian, and proficient in Arabic, he is known for navigating multicultural environments with both professionalism and empathy.
Outside of work, Federico enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, ideally somewhere in the mountains. When his knees and back cooperate, he can usually be found skiing, playing basketball, or attempting amateur photography — with admittedly mixed results.

Mariana Sanchez is a multilingual operations and knowledge management professional with more than eleven years of experience supporting international organisations, disability rights networks, and private sector actors across different global contexts. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with organisations such as the Disability Rights Fund (DRF) and the International Disability Alliance (IDA), as well as legal firms and international development actors, providing operational, logistical, and organisational support.

Hind Akil Haidar is a communications specialist, cultural curator, and writer with nearly 10 years of experience working across the intersections of art, social justice, international development, and community engagement in the SWANA region. Based in Beirut, her work combines strategic communications, cultural programming, advocacy, and storytelling with a strong focus on accessibility, inclusion, and grassroots impact.
Hind has collaborated with international organisations, NGOs, artists, and grassroots initiatives on projects related to gender equality, migration, labour rights, mental health, and community resilience. Her experience spans communications strategy, branding, digital campaigns, qualitative research, programme coordination, and bilingual content creation in both Arabic and English.
Alongside her role as External Communications Consultant with Agile Development Consulting (ADC), Hind manages cultural programming at T Marbouta in Beirut, where she curates exhibitions, discussions, screenings, and public events that connect art with political and social dialogue. She is also the founder of Blckcat, an initiative supporting artists, minority-owned businesses, and grassroots projects in building authentic and community-driven digital identities.
Her background in psychology, activism, and storytelling shapes a people-centered approach to communication and cultural work. Whether conducting regional evaluations, designing advocacy content, coordinating community initiatives during times of crisis, or supporting artists in shaping their public narratives, Hind’s work is rooted in collaboration, critical thinking, and cultural resistance.
Outside of work, Hind spends her time writing, creating art, preserving food traditions, photographing everyday life, and reflecting on the future of the SWANA region and the role culture plays in resistance, memory, and collective survival.
